Forest Stewardship Council®
Established in 1993 over concerns about global deforestation, the Forest Stewardship Council mission is to promote environmentally sound, socially beneficial and economically prosperous management of the world's forests.
FSC Chain-of-Custody certification traces the path of products from forests through the supply chain, to the final user. Every company in the supply chain has to be FSC certified for their products to carry the certification. This Chain-of-Custody process ensures the consumer that the FSC-certified products they purchase are coming from responsibly managed sources. For more information visit www.fsc.org.
Sustainable Forestry Initiative®
SFI is an independent, non-profit organization responsible for maintaining the Sustainable Forestry Initiative® (SFI®) program. The SFI 2015-2019 Standard is based on principles and measures that promote sustainable forest management. The SFI program standard is based on principles that include measures to protect water quality, biodiversity, wildlife habitat, species at risk, and Forests with Exceptional Conservation Value. Sustainable Forestry Initiative certification helps to ensure a steady supply of paper products from legal and responsible sources. For more information visit www.sfiprogram.org
Panaprint uses soy based inks whenever possible in an effort to reduce pollutants being released into the air. Soy ink produces less volatile organic compounds (VOC) so they make for a safer, cleaner working environment for our employees and our community. Soy inks also reduce the time and energy needed to recycle paper which helps to reduce our overall carbon footprint.
